Upcoming Schedule 2020

COVID-19 UPDATE 3/15/2020

Dear Shooters,

After much thought and discussions with the other coaches, I have decided that it is in everyone’s best interest to cancel Thursday night Junior Smallbore practices for the foreseeable future.  This decision was not made lightly.  I have weighed all aspects of the current COVID-19 outbreak and taken into account the local school district closings, USA Shooting’s cancellation of the 2020 Junior Olympics and Part 2 of the Smallbore Olympic Trials, and the closing of the Olympic Training Center to visitors.

The health and safety of our children, coaches and parents are my first priority.  I do not know when we will restart practices, but I am planning on using school reopenings as a guideline to when we will resume practices.  Please keep monitoring the Rio Juniors’ social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram and watch for emails from me with updates.

Thank you all for your understanding. We have great juniors and great parents and coaches and I know that our program will be even stronger when we return.

Stay safe and healthy!
